Electronic Services Appeal to Black Hills, Inc.
Mike and Jackie Kirchmeier, owners
of Black Hills, Inc., have been in the refrigeration, heating
and air conditioning business since 1993. They recall "we were
happy with our banking relationship; however Thurston First

business."
Now, Black Hills Inc. does virtually all of their banking
online. "We make our bank deposits right from our desktop. We
simply scan the checks and send an electronic file to the bank
for processing. We receive our bank statements via a secured
website and also use Direct Deposit for payroll. Because
Thurston First Bank offers state of the art electronic
services through the web, we are now able to vacation and not
have to return home early to run a manual payroll. We don't
travel to our Aberdeen office to distribute payroll anymore.
Besides being a very convenient, cost effective process, we
save both time and money and don't leave our office," say Mike
and Jackie.
Still, the best surprise the Kirchmeiers found is working

work for them for what ever they may need. "We have a great
relationship with Mike Copeland, our lending officer. Mike
made the lending process very easy and quick. Our loan closed
in just three days," recalls Kirchmeier.
