Thurston First Bank works within our community to provide information and training relevant to our clients.

Tom Nelson, Vice President-Commercial Loans, Thurston First Bank donated 126 hours as a volunteer for AARP's Tax-Aide Program. The Tax-Aide Program provides free tax preparation for senior citizens and low-income persons. Tom was responsible for the operations at the Olympia Library and the Olympia Community Center and supervised 12 tax preparers twice weekly from February through April.
